Scots provide the laughs

The Scottish Business Group of Thailand presents a comedy night featuring two great Scottish comedians _ Raymond Mearns and Gary Little _ at Rembrandt Hotel's ballroom on Oct 5 at 6.30pm.

Mearns has had a sell-out run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and then went to New York for shows at Improv and Gotham Comedy Club, alongside the first ever New York Comedy Festival.

Last year Mearns appeared in the new series of Rab C. Nesbitt and in the BBC's Scottish soap opera River City. Little joined the comedy scene in 2003 and is a regular on the UK comedy circuit.

Proceeds from the event will go to the Gift of Happiness Foundation, a non-profit organisation offering free clown shows and other comical entertainment to disadvantaged or needy children as well as adults.

Tickets cost 2,750 baht (25,000 baht for a table of 10), which includes a buffet (four-course dinner, appetisers, soft drinks, wine, beer and no corkage). Feel free to bring your own bottles.

For reservations, call 081-824-3157 or visit www.facebook.com/ScottishComedyNightBangkok.
