Provencal style has been recognised in the home decor world alongside Greek and Tuscan. Now Salento is announcing its unique style from the southeast of Apulia region of Italy.

Featuring various sub-styles from the region, the book is divided into two parts _ town houses (case di paese) and country houses (case di campagna).
There's no precise pattern for decorating in Salento style. The exterior is mostly made of stone, while the interior decor is based on local, natural and reused materials. Staircases in the houses are often made of stone. Old iron locks and keys become decorative items on the wall. An old wooden door stylishly becomes the headboard of a bed in a house displayed in artistic Salento style.
Grandma's old table is being used as a functional and decorative item. The old simple wooden table is repainted in white to blend with the all-white furniture, new and old, in a white rectangular building that stands between the red earth, olive groves and the sea.
Then there's a large agricultural house being transformed into an enchanting country abode, a temple of white and of light. The loft-style building is ideal to raise children and allows them to be in contact with nature and animals. The barn at one end of the building where horses live is separated by transparent glass, making a unique view.
