Most of the people say if a general election is held today they will vote for the Pheu Thai Party, followed by the Democrat Party, Abac Poll revealed on Sunday.
The poll was conducted between Jan 10-19 on 2,182 people aged 18 and up in Bangkok, Chanthaburi, Lop Buri, Pathum Thani, Chon Buri, Phichit, Phetchabun, Chiang Mai, Mukdahan, Nong Khai, Chaiyaphum, Surin, Udon Thani, Khon Kaen, Phatthalung, Surat Thani and Nakhon Si Thammarat.
To the question which party they would vote for if an election was held today, 42.8% said they were for the ruling Pheu Thai Party, 26.5% for the Democrat Party, and 30.7% for other parties.
The poll found that the indicies of Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra's leadership increased considerably in comparison between October last year and January this year.
The indices included her modesty, ability to exercise restraint, hospitality, knowledge and ability and vison.
